The snake

What does it take to catch a killer? Inspired by real events, The snake reveals the story of serial conman Charles Sobrage (Golden Globe nominee Tahar Rahim) and numerous attempts to bring him to justice.

A dark rainy night, an empty house, a stranded couple and an unknown man. An elegant game of cat and mouse begins to play as the three find a dead body in the basement. The film takes the form of an old-fashioned tale – a kind of mystery, suspense and a house that feels like a mousetrap.

Thunder force

In a world where supervillains are commonplace, two estranged childhood best friends reunite after one invents a formula that empowers them to defend their city. It features Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer.

Ajeeb Daastaans

When: April 16

Ajeeb Daastaans is an anthology of four contrasting stories that delve into fragmented relationships and unexplored spaces. The stories explore jealousy, law, prejudice and toxicity, while leading you into a struggle between the moral dilemma of what is right and what is wrong. The original Netflix was directed by Shashank Khaitan, Raj Mehta, Neeraj Ghaywan and Kayoze Irani.

Concrete cowboy

While spending the summer in North Philadelphia, the troubled teenager (Caleb McLaughlin) found himself between a criminal life and the living urban-cowboy subculture of his estranged father (Idris Elba). Based on the novel Ghetto cowboy by G. Neri, Concrete cowboy was directed by Ricky Staub and co-starred with Jarrell Jerome, Byron Bowers, Lorraine Toussaint and Clifford’s The Method Smith.

Shadow and bone

Dark forces conspire against orphan creator Alina Starkov when she unleashes an extraordinary force that could change the fate of her war-torn world.

The student

When: April 30

Chaitanya Tamhane’s long-awaited and highly acclaimed second feature is finally making its way to a streaming platform. The student is the tale of an Indian classical vocalist, Sharad Nerulkar, looking for the traditional absolute in a modern city that keeps making noise. The film acquires the musician’s unadulterated devotion, the pursuit of a mirage-like divinity, and the courage to fight your own mediocrity.

Road stopped

On a mission to Mars, involuntarily passenger accidentally causes serious damage to the life support systems of the ship. Faced with dwindling resources and a potentially fatal outcome, the crew is forced to make an impossible decision.

The search for Sheila

Shakun Batra and Dharmatic Entertainment bring you a documentary about Osho’s controversial former secretary, Ma Anand Shiela, when she returns to India after 34 years in exile. After rewriting to fame after the mega reception of the Netflix documentary Wild Wild Country, Looking for Sheila promises to be an intimate look at her journey through India, watching her rebranding as an icon of pop culture.

Tom Clancy without remorse

B.based on the 1993 novel of the same name by Tom Clancy and the separation of Jack Ryan film series, the film tells the story of the origins of John Kelly (also known as John Clark), an American naval seal who uncovers an international conspiracy while seeking justice for the murder of his pregnant wife by Russian soldiers.

The new mutants

Songs that my brothers taught me

Judas and the Black Messiah

Mai Hero Boll Raha Hu
