Earlier this month, Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor tested positive for COVID-19 and was under house quarantine. Now the actor has recovered and this was confirmed by his uncle Randhir Kapoor on Thursday.
On March 9, Ranbir’s mother, Neetu Kapoor, confirmed that the actor had tested positive for the virus and had been quarantined. However, there is no update for it with negative testing. Two days ago, Ranbir’s sister Ridhima Kapoor Sahni posted a photo with the actor snapped during an 11-month prayer meeting for their late father, Rishi Kapoor. This has sparked speculation about the star’s health.
In a conversation with a news agency, Ranbir’s uncle Randhir Kapoor confirmed that the actor has a negative test and that he is now completely well. Randhir said he had met Ranbir, but did not know when his nephew had tested negative.
Before passing the COVID-19 test, Ranbir Kapoor shot for his upcoming film Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukherjee. The film also stars Alia Bhat, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mooney Roy. Ranbir will also be seen in Shamshera, due out on June 25.
