The Federation of Cinematographers of the West Indies has decided to return the ban imposed on actress Gawahar Khan for violating the rules of COVID-19. The decision comes weeks after the ban was imposed. Last month, FWICE convicted the actress after a FIR was filed on March 15 by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for violating quarantine rules.
The BMC claims that Gauahar went out to shoot, despite a positive test for COVID-19. After learning this, FWICE banned the actress for two months and issued a directive against collaboration.
It is reported that FWICE has now decided to release it with a warning. The organization reportedly warned her that if the incident happened again, the ban would be reinstalled and would not be lifted for a long time.
The producer of the web series for which Gauahar is reportedly reportedly appealed to FWICE to apologize. FWICE was informed that the ban would lead to large losses for the producer, as it would violate the combination dates of other artists.
FWICE Secretary General Ashok Dubey and President BN Tiwari confirmed the development of a news portal and said they would receive the letter of permission by tomorrow (April 2nd).
